Have been in law enforcement for 28 years and have used many styles of footwear, from low-quarters to tactical. I am hooked on my Bates lace to tow boots for work and these Talimena Motorcycle boots are right there with them. Bought them for motorcycle riding since I was getting bored with the typical Harley boots. Took my dogs for a walk as soon as I got these boots. Walked 2 miles in them straight out of the box to break them in and not sure what I was thinking since these boots were already good to go. Very comfortable straight out of the box and the price saved me about $50.00.

I am a firm size 9 and had to order the 9-9.5---had ordered smaller but had to get this size. I thought at first they seemed a little clunky, The rise is a little higher at front and base and heel seemed a little thick, but the look this season is for a heavier heel. The excellent thing is the heel is all molded rubber--no leather wrap, so it absorbs shock and also do not have to worry about skinning it. So much cushioning in this shoe. First day I wore them all day and walked about 25 blocks--had forgotten my commuter shoes--- and only one minor rub spot--I say pretty excellent for new shoes. The constant dilemma of style vs comfort is solved with this shoe.
