I purchased these for work, I wear them every day. My regular $25 department store rubber boots got a hole in the bottom after six months of wear. These are very durable, comfortable, and very cute. They have a feminine style without making me look too bright and flowery for work (like most other fashion boots). They are pretty and functional. I love how the neoprene top allows for breathing so my shins don't get sticky and drenched in sweat, causing my pants to wrinkle up. My pants fit great in these, the neoprene has some elasticity to it so you can fit any kind of pants in smoothly and comfortably. My ankles and foot arches feel supported like I'm wearing a sneaker, so I know I won't have sore feet. They are lined with a soft heavy fabric which make them warm like sneakers too. I am usually a shoe size 8.5. I ordered a size 9 thinking they would fit well, keeping in mind previous reviews from the Bogs site that this new "plimsoll" style was a little tight. Well they were very tight. My foot fit inside but like other reviewers noted, the shell was too tight on the top of my foot, causing some discomfort to my bone, and my heel was rubbing against the back. There was plenty of toe space though. Although it felt some what ok, I knew I was going to get blisters and foot pain. That's the chance you take when ordering online without trying on in person, so I wasn't too disappointed. I simply returned them for a size 10. Amazon did an easy exchange, free return shipping, and sent the new shoes out for free before they even received the returned pair. It took two days exactly to receive each pair. The new size 10 came quickly, but it was loose. I could have used a half size up but they don't make half sizes. I put some "Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel Work Insoles for Women" inside and voil , they're a perfect snug, comfy fit. There's still some space for heavy wool socks. I am extremely happy with the quality of these boots and the service from Amazon, and I am happy with my purchase. I'm sure these boots will last a long time. They are well worth the price if you plan to wear them often.
