These shoes are soooo comfortable. Cushy padding in the toe section makes standing and walking a breeze. Plus the chic design of the criss-cross straps give me a lot of much needed support. I had a severe break in my left foot a number of years ago and these are one of the few heels I am able to wear. They combine comfort and style and superior workmanship. Fabulous!

Added after reading the other review: I didn't have any size problems. My pair ran true to size and I personally like the fact that the "peep toe" is subtle. I am wearing these shoes in winter and don't want my toes to be that visible.

I think that it should be made known that Laredos typically run about a 1/2 size small. My feet are just medium width and I wear nothing but boots for foot wear. First, the great design and visual appeal of the boots, the Bates brand name and two recommendations from co-workers on the job. I liked the price and went ahead and bought them. Very light, comfortable and seem to be durable and more time will tell. I also like the zipper on the inner side which makes it easy for taking on and off, and the gel pad in the heel is great if you're on your feet a lot during your day. I wear a Size 13 (extra wide), that's what I ordered and they were true to size. The only thing I didn't like is the boots are just a bit clunky. Overall, very good boots and a good value.
