What a beautiful, elegant and comfortable shoe! There is extra cushioning inside the shoe - toe, instep and heel. The first time I wore these I was on my way to a job interview on the bus! I ended up standing up half of the the trip with no problems at all. Then, on my return trip, I ended up walking one mile from the bus stop to my home because my ride didn't show up. I was worried about walking that distance with heels that had not been broken in. I was also concerned that my shoes might be damaged by the walk. Both my feet and my shoes made it home in perfect condition. The shoes are well made and withstood the trials of city sidewalks and roads. They are so comfortable to walk in that I daresay I could have walked another mile in them! I feel like buying a pair in every colour. I'm definitely a Circa Joan & David fan now and will watch for this brand in future. Also, I live in Canada and when I placed the order, delivery was estimated at 10 days. I received them in 2 days!!
