I've never owned cowboy-style boots but I saw these on the CAT website and had to buy them. At first I couldn't find a US retailer UNTIL I looked here on Amazon. These boots are, dare I say, "SEXY". They fit true to size and they're comfortable for cowboy-style boots. The tread has better grip than expected. The leather is soft and hasn't stained yet. Bought them in peanut brown but I like them so much I may get`em in black.

*After wearing them 2-3 times a week for almost 2 years the tread's on the sole & heel have worn down flat but the rest of the shoe, w/ occasional cleaning & oiling, has held up really well. The leather is still soft and the sole has yet to separate even a bit. I nailed some store bought rubber sole pads to the heel & sole so they should be stomping around for a while.
