I was really looking foward to getting these shoes.

First, a little background. I am in the Army and I run a minimum of 2 miles a day in my free time. I've ran half marathons and have ran 20 miles plus. I've been looking for a shoe that can handle the ruff terrain in Afghanistan and also not cause back pain.

These shoes have great sole protection from ruff terrain and graveled area. But the shoes cause the area on the sole of both feet to get blisters on the inside. They also rub very uncomfortably on the rim of where the foot enters. after 1/2 mile my feet were bleeding and now I have trouble walking in normal shoes and boots.

I will not give up on the shoes though. I will continue to break the shoes in and write a second reveiw in a few months after I redeploy. I'm not too sure if these need a break in period like other shoes or not. That said, I've never had shoes or boots make my feet bleed like these did.

To sum everything up. Great soles that offer wonderful protection. Places on your foot will be rubbed raw. I will not give up so easily though.
