Don't know why I'm reviewing these shoes as if I want everyone to go out and purchase the same shoes I have. I just feel the need to give Johnston & Murphy their 'props' for these. Sometimes you need to break the barrier and J&M did just that with this style. I'm very happy they didn't find the need to go overboard like Cole Haan and the rest did looking to be innovative but taking risks in doing so.

It's a smart looking shoe that you can be creative with mixing colors but yet still be conservative without looking clownish. Most shoes nowadays have that longated toe trying too hard to impress the cap-toe or wing-tip feature. So for spite I ordered a 1/2 size smaller (I wear a 9 so I ordered 8 1/2) I never did care for a shoe that looked longer than my leg. Half size smaller is definitely the way to go with this longated feature without the worry and hassle of breaking the shoe in. I just stuffed a few socks in the toe of the shoe overnight, it was good to go.
