Took these out of the box and headed off on a 2,000 mile trip over 5 days. I was wearing the boots at least 12 hours each day. They broke in quickly and are comfortable. I hit significant rain on the second day of the trip and my feet stayed dry. Temperatures along the route ranged from the high 30's to the low 90's and my feet were comfortable. The only issue I found was the hard sole. The day it rained I was slipping on any painted surface. Since that was on the second day it could have been the boot soles were not broken in. This is the only reason I gave the boots 4 stars out of the max 5. Overall I would not hesitate to purchase again. Size of boots are true. I wear a 9.5 US in bates uniform shoes and a 9.5 US in the boots.
