Like all Ecco shoes, these fit my feet perfectly. I ordered the Trail Shoes because I walk 5 miles every day, over hill and dale, gravel, concrete, uneven pavement... I need a good quality shoe with plenty of support; I weigh 265 lbs and I'm hard on shoes. I think Trail Shoes are designed to better handle abuse than, say, your average pair of sneakers or running shoes. I put over 500 hard miles on my last pair before finally wearing the heels down.
