I first received the black suede heels in a size 7.5 (my regular size) but had to return them b/c they kept slipping off my heels. Exchanged for a size 7, the fit was snugger but still had the heel slippage issue. I decided to purchase gel inserts for the heel area, luckily they worked well and now I can wear the shoes comfortably. I didn't want to give-up on the shoes b/c they are absolutely stunning, definitely worth the added cost of $6 extra for the heel inserts purchased at Target. I think there is an inherent design flaw and if I sized down again, the shoes would be extremely snug and may still feel like the heel would slip as I'm walking in the shoes.
