Corcoran 1500 Men's 10" Original Jump Boot Black Size 6.5 D Review

I am a member of the local Honor Guard, we perform last military rites at veteran
funerals. I needed footwear that looked good and would stand up to all kinds of
weather, i.e. mud, snow, etc. My new Corcoran's are just what I was looking for and
needed. I spent several hours spit-shinning them, to get them to the shine that I
needed. They have already been through the mud and snow of Winter. They kept their
high luster through all of it. All I do is brush them off, when I get back home, and they are ready for the next service. I am well pleased. I owned a pair when I
was in the Military, and they lasted me several years. I am looking forward to get-
ting several more years out of this pair. I will certainly do more business with
Amazon.com, in the future.

I have been wearing New Balance shoes for 15 years, ever since I discovered that the 990 series were the best shoes for my low arches. I was hoping that these CM1500s would be similar quality, but when they arrived I was surprised to see the tongue wasn't the normal mesh, but some type of nylon material that cinched and bunched when the laces were tied tight. Shoes seems both lighter and stiffer than the older NB I've owned - both of which rang of lower quality. Noticed that unlike many NB models, these shoes were made overseas. I returned them and went with a Made-In-America model. More expensive, yes, but for the quality and the principle of buying USA, worth it. New model (1300) came the other day, and I love them. My advice, pay attention to the labels and buy the ones made here.

Keen Utility Women's Flint Low Work Boot,Drizzle/Surf Spray,11 M US Review

These shoes are great for anyone looking for comfort and for those standing on their feet for 8+ hours a day. They are lightweight for steel toes, but still a bit heavier than regular shoes. They feel like the weight of a boot. I have serious foot problems and an upcoming foot surgery, so comfort is important to me. There is no break in period so they are ready to wear. I have been wearing them outside of work too. I took a long hike with them on and they did really well. I haven't had any problems driving with them on, like some other steel toes. The mesh on these shoes allows your feet to stay cool. The Atlanta Cool style had much more mesh and may be cooler, but I was concerned with rain/snow leaking into them, so I opted for the less mesh. My fellow employees each bought a pair and we all have 3 different styles that are available. I would say that the Atlanta Cool has the most mesh for breathablity, while these (Flint) have just enough :-) , and the Detroit has no mesh and my co-worker says they are hot. My feet haven't been sweaty or stinky at all! I would recommend using the sizing chart as it is accurate. I measured my foot with a yard stick. Don't be alarmed by the extra toe room though. There is plenty of wiggle room and by the end of the day you will be glad that you have it. They are also ESD rated. These are awesome shoes and I will buy them again.
