I was excited to get these boots, but disappointed and returning them (I have to pay return fees). They are tight to get on, but once on the front foot area is too wide I felt like I was moving around in them too much, even with wool socks on. And they are very wide/big looking, with a narrow upper, looked like work boots, they just are not attractive. I know I'd feel clunky wearing them, not stylish. I'm going to check out another Merrill style but in a retail store so I'm sure I like them, and the prices are the same. I think the quality is probably great, and they looked like they'd be warm and waterproof, just not good looking which is the point of leather and fur trim and buckles, etc.
