I kept an eye on these boots for several months before finally catching a sale price. I was nervous due to some not so great reviews, but I really like these boots - like the way they feel, how they look, don't make a lot of noise when I walk, good grip on the bottom, etc., had almost no issues breaking them in. They tend to squeeze my feet uncomfortably towards the end of a day, but I have somewhat wide feet. They are already stretching, so I don't think they will continue to squeeze, just a matter of wearing them a few more times. Love the vintage look/feel of these. Very classy and understated, great for everyday at the office and would look nice with jeans going out somewhere low key too. Only issue is they are pretty hard to get on the first several times you wear them. I think over time it will get better, plus I may invest in a shoe horn since I seem to have this problem with any new boots.
