After looking for boots for literally months that were both stylish and functional I am so glad to have found these. While most boots that are actually warm (these are rated -40 degrees, quite warm)are not very easy on the eye, and the cute boots are definitely not made for real outdoor activities, these boots fit the bill for both. I really didn't want to spend $100 plus boots on either/or, I wanted to find ones that I could wear through the snow just going to the mall and to the slopes. It was worth all of the research. They arrived today and are exactly what I expected. Definitely a serious winter boot but enough cute to wear with out with a cute outfit. The removable liner is a huge plus for drying after winter sports. DEFINITELY go a size up, I went up a size and a half and they fit perfect.
