I have a pair of beeswax leather desert boots, which were very stiff and hurt for two weeks before they broke in.

I bought these UGGs because I wanted something similar but a step up from the Clarks.

These deliver on almost every count. They're attractive, sturdy, and comfortable. The leather is soft and they swaddle my foot luxuriously. They also have arch support, unlike the Clarks. The back of the heel cup and the foot bed under the toe are lined with soft fleecy lamb-skin, which is a first for me. Fuzzy.

The reason I'm giving these only three stars, however, is because the edge of the upper is separating from the edge of the sole on my pair. It appears that some of the fleecy lamb fur was not fully removed from the edge where they were trying to glue it together. For the price, I expected a little better. The separation only affects about an inch worth of the edge of one shoe, so it's probably a one-off fluke, but I'm probably going to try Johnston Murphy boots instead.
