I purchased these approach shoes solely based on price, and have fallen in love with them. They seem to fit true to size, but being an approach shoe; you may want to size them a bit tight and let them break in a little. I measure out a size 12, usually wear 11.5, and picked these up in a size 11. They broke in to be perfect (not too tight for hiking to the crags, but tight enough to do some grade 5 scrambling). The Traxion rubber sticks well when dry, but offers no grip at all when wet. The sole is stiff and supportive for low grade climbing/scrambling. The Terrex solo is laced far down the toe to give a custom fit, and the quick lacing system works well. I only have to pull the laces at the top and the whole shoe cinches up. The molded tongue, and materials used inside the shoe make it incredibly supportive, and comfortable. In fact, these shoes have made Adidas a top choice for any shoe need. I'm glad they included the heel pull loop on the back; not because they're hard to get on, but it allows you to hook them on a carabiner, and carry them easily when you're not wearing them.
